...he Nolan trilogy. One of many points you overlooked was the reasoning behind Batman's choice to not put the blame on Harvey Dent at the end of TDK. The whole movie revolved around the concept of "The Dark Knight" (Batman) and "The White Knight" (Harvey Dent), light vs dark, which is hammered in with Batman vs Joker and Batman vs Bruce Wayne. The Nolan Trilogy was centered around the idea that Bruce Wayne was struggling with the inner darkness that comes with being Batman, hence his retirement after TDK (Also sourced from The Dark Knight Returns Comic Arc). I am more than open to discuss more points you did not agree with, because I do believe the Nolan Trilogy, namely Batman Begins, is some of the best Batman film content out there. We still have time to see how Synder and Affleck go about this business!
