2017 may have just started, but for Margot Robbie nothing has changed. After having an extremely successful year in 2016 it seems things will remain in Robbie's favor this year. As of a few days ago, Robbie was officially announced as one of Forbes '30 Under 30'. Marking as another huge accomplishment in her career. But what is '30 Under 30', you ask? Here's the rundown:
Forbes '30 Under 30'
Forbes '30 Under 30' is a comprised list of 600 young entrepreneurs, leaders, and stars. The list itself is extremely hard to get on, as it only has around a 4% acceptance rate according to Forbes. Meaning, that it has a lower acceptance rate than any Ivy League school you can think of. This year, there were just around 15,000 nominations and only 600 win a spot on the list (view full list here).
Taking that into consideration, Robbie's feat proves just how stellar of 2016 she really had. Starring in such films as The Legend of Tarzan and Suicide Squad, helped propel her to a higher level of stardom. That said, Robbie hasn't stop to dwell in her success but has currently moved on to her next role!
Robbie has already been spotted out skating preparing for her role of Tonya Harding. Harding was a popular figure skater who caused a big scandal in the 1994 Norway Olympics. In fact, TMZ was even able to snag a video of the newlywed Robbie doing some of her practice skating.
For those who know of Robbie's rigorous training for Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad, then you are well-aware that Robbie is no stranger to a little physical challenge.
Robbie recently opened up to Glamour magazine to express her excitement over the challenge that the film will bring.
It's reported that Captain America: Civil War's Sebastian Stan will star alongside Robbie in the film as Tonya's ex-husband Jeff Gillooly. The role of Tonya's opposition Kerrigan has yet to be cast.
