Blade Runner (1982) is the cult adaptation of Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep. At the time it was hailed as visionary, with its cinematic aesthetic going on to inspire the look of countless films throughout the genre. Now, after a long gestation period, the sequel has finally been revealed.

It seems that Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) has survived out in the radioactive wastes, with the shady figure of Ryan Gosling encroaching set to shatter his exile.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years

Denis Villeneuve proved his Science Fiction mettle earlier this year with the phenomenal Arrival, and the cinematic quality of the trailer looks set to preserve the spirit of the original. What do you think of the trailer?
