Today I've decided to write about something a little different than my norm. I decided it would be interesting to write about movies that make me shed a tear.. Maybe two. And at the same time, have an opportunity to find out about movies that make you all feel the sadness.
The Green Mile (1999)
'The Green Mile.' This movie is one that gets me every single time. Green Mile follows an inmate on Death Row (John Coffey), who is convicted of murdering two little girls. John is a massive and imposing man but seems to have the demeanor of a child. Paul Edgecomb played by Tom Hanks, begins to notice these subtle things about John Coffey. The men of green mile later come to find that Coffey possesses supernatural gifts. This movie culminates in one of the saddest endings of all time. If you put this one on, be prepared and have the tissue ready.

La Bamba (1987)
'La Bamba' is the tragic story of one of the greatest rock and roll performers of all time. Ricardo Valenzuela, Ritchie was an American singer, songwriter and guitarist born in Lynwood, CA 1941. He created such hits as, "La Bamba," "We Belong Together" and "Donna." This movie builds you up on a fun ride through the rise of the American singer, only to let you down. Ritchie's life was cut short at the early age of 18 in a plane crash over Clear Lake, IA.
What Dreams May Come (1998)
Where do I begin with this one. An excellent cast staring Robin Williams, Cuba Gooding Jr., Annabella Sciorra and Max Von Sydow. Follows Chris Nielsen and his family down one of the most depressing roads a family can travel. 'What Dreams May Come' takes us through love, loss, Heaven and hell, only to show us the power of love. The journey, though an excellent one, will leave you with a pile of tissue and a heavy heart.

Sweet November (2001)
'Sweet November' has always been one of my favorites. You can't go wrong with Charlize Theron and Keanu Reeves. 'Sweet November,' follows Nelson, who leads a self absorbed life, consumed by his work. Until by chance, he meets a woman named Sara Deever. She decided she wants to help him be a better person, but in turn, Nelson ends up helping her as well. 'Sweet November' is a great love story that will leave you in tears. Some thing just aren't meant to be.
"You're my immortality Nelson." -Sara Deever
