In addition to being faster than Barry, Wally is also more powerful. While created the speed force, Wally has a much stronger connection to it. That connection allows him to lend and steal speed, charging mass with kinetic energy that causes them to explode when he phases through them and even create constructs from the speed force itself, like his costume.
