Pretty much a fan of all but if you come at me with horror I have a salt shaker and an iron rod and I'm not afraid to use them :D

For most people the 1st of septemebr of 2015 passed as normally as any other, for those of us who have walked the corridors of Hogwarts it brought tears of both joy and sadness to our tears. Why's that you think? Well *deep breath* it has been nineteen years since the iconic battle of Hogwarts, it has been nineteen years since the demise of Lord Voldemort (yes we said his name) and it has been nineteen years since Harry Potter's scar last pained him. And it is on this iconic date that his youngest son, Albus Severus , left from Platform 9 ¾ to follow in his father and mother's (and don't forget aunt and uncle's) footsteps to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

So what have our favourite wizards and witches been up to these past two decades?

WELL...

Harry Potter

Well the boy who lived continued to live (as expected) and eventually married into one of the largest and most amazing wizarding families known. From being raised by the despicable dursley's, when Harry married Ginny he got the big, loving family he always wanted and deserved. Not only that, he and his best friend, by law, are now brothers, who wouldn't want that? Now Harry's story continues even after this, even without his N.E.W.T.S, Harry's knowledge on defence against dark arts and his invaluable experiences against such darkness made him just the right wizard to become Head of Auror Office, the wizarding police, which defends both the magical and the muggle world from dark wizards and witches.

Hermione Granger

Hermione, the know-it-all we have all grown to love is the only one, not surprisingly, to return to school after the battle of Hogwarts and get her N.E.W.T.S ( I wonder if she ever got her priorities right). Well we all know she married Ron soon after that and become a proud Weasley (and officialally becomes part of Harry's family too, in doing so) and is also Harry and Ginny's eldest son's godmother. But what happened to Hermione, after she got her N.E.W.T.S, that is? Well, she continued her work on S.P.E.W., helping to strengthen the rights of under deprived housewives by working in the ministry of Magic in the Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Afterwards, she ironically went to work in the in Department of Magical Law enforcement, the same department everyone's favourite witch *cough* Dolores Unbridge used to work. We can all agree Hermione did more good then then the latter ever did. Hermione worked with Kingsley Shacklebolt (the current minister of magic) in eradicating the old biased laws in favour of pure-blood witches and wizards.

Ron Weasley

Well no house points to you for knowing who Ron marries but you might like to know what happened to our favourite freckled sidekick after the second wizarding war. Like Harry, his experience against the dark art proved invaluable and thus became an auror. However, two years later, he quite to eventually became the co-manager along with his brother George (please refrain from crying on your keyboard (although it is understandable)) at of Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes.

And an interesting fact abut our favourite trio is that they are all portrayed as Chocolate Frog collectable cards.

Ginny Weasley

So we all know that sometime after the second wizardiNG War Ginny and Harry got together(again), got married and eventually had kids, but what else? Well we all know that Ginny was always an impressive quiddich player so when i say she became a professional quidditch player for the all witch Holyhead Harpies. Ginny eventually switched her broom for a quill and became the senior quid ditch corresponder for the Daily Prophet.

Neville Longbottom

So what happened to out loveble heroe after the battle of Hogwarts? Rowling revealed that like his fellow gryffindor dorm-mate he became an Auror, even if only briefly. Later it seems that Neville preferred to continue to pursue his passion for herbology and became the herbology professor at Hogwarts. Probably one of the most interesting herbology teachers they ever had (no offence Professor Sprout) and he even carries around the D.A coin as a badge of honour. Unlike what many people may think, Neville did NOT end up with Luna but married fellow D.A member Hannah Abbott and is reportedly Albus severus Potter's godfather.

Luna Lovegood

Would you be surprised if i said that Luna, after leaving Hogwarts travelled the world searching for strange new creatures. Luna eventually became a world famous magical naturalist however she never did find a Crumple-Horned Snorkack and had, finally, to accept that her father might have made that one up. Luna eventually married Rolf Scamander, the grandson of the soon to be movie protagonist Newt Scamander, and had twin sons Lysander and Lorcan. That must be one ...interesting... family dinner but that why we love them.

Draco Malfoy

surprisingly it is Draco Malfoy that we know the least about after the faithful battle of hogwarts. We know that he marries fellow slytherin Astoria Greengrass and has a son, Scropius. from what can be seen in the film and read from he book, the relationship between Harry and Draco has improved over the years and it is known, that while raising Scorpius thought him to be more tolerable and accepting to non-pureblood wizarding families, much to his parent's disappointment. Although it is not known what Draco did after Hogwarts it is known that he did keep he family's old collection of Dark artefacts but refrained from using them and kept them in glass cases. It is known that one of his hobbies is studying alchemical manuscripts.

The wizards and witch we have grown to love have all grown up and for us fans this date is both a joyous and tear filled day. At last, young Albus Ssverus if making the first faithful journey to a life surely filled with magic and excitant. this excitement is only dampened by the revelation that, trough official content, the harry potter timeline never made it past 1st septemebr 2015, we have officially out grown the timeline and for those of us that grew up waking wands and drawing lightning bolt scars on our foreheads it seem like the ultimate finale...

however, we must remember that altough we have out lived the harry potter timeline we can always return to that work we love trough the page or the screen. No matter how many year may pass the magic will forever live within us, no matter how old we may grow, no matter our own journeys and adventure we may take we must remember, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome us home.
