...ations have a moral and social responsibility to change the ethnicities (hell, even the sexes) of some of their characters. The fact of the matter is that the modern world is not made up of ridiculously good-looking white guys, and it never was. Represent the world we live in, not the world small-minded idiots wish we did. If their idea is to depict a somewhat realistic world for their comic movies, studios should actively attempt to continue to increase diversity levels in their films. Ultimately, however, it should come down to who is best suited for the role. In that sense, you would hard-pressed to find a young actor that's more ideally fit for a superhero role than Michael B. Jordan. He's an outstanding talent and he has the look/build to fill the tights. Even if the movie is shit, it won't be because of MBJ, I can guarantee you that.
