As fans of superhero movies we can all agree that seeing The X-Men on sreen will be the maximum effort from Marvel Studios. As we know the MCU is getting bigger every year with a lot of heroes waitting to get their first movie ( Spiderman: Homecoming, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Inhumans) a lot of these titles are long expected. Doctor Strange was Marvel's 14th movie and it was something special for the MCU. All the success they had with their characters it's for sure that The X-Men franchise will be handled pretty well in Marvel's hands. The last deal was made with Sony as we all know. Kevin Feige recently stated that we won't see The X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

“It’s an impossibility at this juncture. We certainly have enough films to keep us busy for a number of lifetimes.”

There were a lot of speculations that Fantastic Four will be handled by Marvel Studios in 2020 because of their recent let down with those characters. The real question is, do we really need The X-Men?

It's safe to say that we badly want The X-Men in the MCU and we all want to see how Marvel Studios will approach this franchise. As much as Kevin Feige wants to bring the X-Men to life in his universe it's pretty much impossible. FOX made a lot of money from these characters and it's safe to say that they bought the right characters to make money. The X-Men franchise is pretty big with a lot of success from Deadpool (R-rated movie) and X-Men: Days of Future Past.

The biggest stars from The X-Men franchise are Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy. Hugh Jackman the one and only Wolverine with his upcoming movie Logan. As big of these movies and stars are they are not bigger than the MCU. It will be a good idea if Marvel make The X-Men part of their universe in Phase 4. With all ideas that Marvel have in their schedule it will be impossible to make if The X-Men are around. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Kevin Feige had this vague comment to make about what Phase Four will bring to the table:

“I think there will be a finality to moments of Phase Three, as well as new beginnings, that will mark a different, a very different, a distinctively different, chapter in what will someday be a complete first saga made up of three phases.

Our future is in good hands. FOX may reboot The X-Men universe in near future and chances say that it will be a good one beacuse of their ups and downs with the last X-Men franchise. Deadpool 2 is in e works so we are expecting a lot of movies from FOX and continue with enjoying the MCU and their everlasting characters.
