Today is day three of the awesome #RogueOneWeek, and on this glorious day, the question is: Who is your favorite side character from Star Wars and why?

Going right into it, my initial favorite side character was #GeneralGrievous. Though he IS my favorite #StarWars character of all time, he isn't that much of a side character y'see — he's an important one. So he's crossed off the list.
Next up are some people that I hope nobody chose as their favorite side character: Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes
You don't know who the greatest musicians in the galaxy are? It's Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes of course! You might not have known their names (besides "the cantina playing aliens"), but you'd definitely recognize them by their appearance:
Who Are They?
The seven-group band first appeared in 1977's Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in Mos Eisley's Chalmun's Cantina. They're a hairless race of aliens called Biths. The group consists of Figrin D'an (the leader), Nalan Cheel, Tedn Dahai, Doikk Na'ts, Ickabel G'ont, Tech Mo'r, and Lirin Car'n. The groups biggest hit is the "Cantina Song," composed by John Williams.
Cool Fact: The band was popular across the galaxy during the Clone Wars, touring the front lines and entertaining Republic soldiers. By the time Luke Skywalker reached adulthood, however, they were reduced to playing in seedy cantinas for a living. Only six of the members were playing when Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi walked into the Cantina. Lirin Car'n sat out during the performance, because he was not needed.
Why Are They Awesome?
The Biths are one of the strangest races in the Star Wars universe — they're creepy but cool, and they sure as hell can play a tune. Am I right, or am I right? I like creepy, strange and cool things, so that's why they're my favorite side characters.
