As she matures, those will be replaced by emotions she herself establishes and controls. Heck, my 17yo still reflects a lot of her mother in the way she reacts. And, public school seriously impedes a kids opportunities to mature and become who they are as it is a cocoon wrapping the kids into a "fake" environment controlled by people who aren't even family!
