Yes! In 2017 another PlayStation legend will be reborn — Crash Bandicoot. And we won't be getting just one game, but an entire trilogy on the #PS4!
Returning alongside our favorite spinning orange marsupial hero are some baddies that are 100 percent committed to defeating him.
So let's take a look at the top five #CrashBandicoot enemies that we can't wait to see make an appearance in the new games!
5. Papu Papu
If you played the very first Crash Bandicoot game, then this big-bellied bully should be a very memorable one, seeing as he's the first boss of the series. #PapuPapu tries to whack you with his huge staff and you have to defeat him by jumping on his head. We can't wait to see this tribal terror attempt to defeat us in the first boss stage of the new remake.
4. Tiny Tiger
The huge bandicoot-smashing genetic experiment first appeared in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and we're champing at the bit to see his return. Tiny Tiger is scary and startled many of us with his freakishly muscular body and super-sharp fangs. His appearance has changed throughout the years, initially presenting as topless and gladiator-like with spikes, before morphing into something a bit more classy and military in appearance. Let's wait and see what look #NaughtyDog will end up using for our favorite tiger.
3. Doctors Nitrus Brio And N. Gin
Now let's get to these two crazy scientists who are both assistants to N. Cortex. While Brio and Gin are very different in appearance, they both make for annoying bosses in the Crash Bandicoot series thanks to their inventions.
Brio has his genetic mutations (some even involving himself) and Gin his mechanical monstrosities. The reboot should show us more of their gizmos and craziness.
2. Uka Uka
Uka Uka is a spirit reincarnated as a mask — a really evil mask. The brother of Crash's mask friend Aku Aku (yep, very imaginative) is one of the most terrifying enemies in the series. He may just be a floating head that bobs around zapping people, but his appearance and scary voice was enough of a threat for us to not attempt to tangle with him. As the Great Uka Uka makes his return in the reboot, we hope his menacing presence still lives up to expectations.
1. Dr. Neo Cortex
Gotham has #Batman and the #Joker, while in the Crash Bandicoot universe, it's all about Crash and N. Cortex. It's a must that we see N. Cortex make a return, especially seeing as he created Crash himself! This psychotic and evil mad scientist is the main protagonist of the series and will always have a special place in our hearts. As long as N. Cortex is the brains behind everything in the reboot, we can hands down expect a good trilogy.
