5. James Cosmo
He plays the Night Watch's Lord Commander Jeor Mormont aka The Old Bear, Father to Jorah Mormont on Game of Thrones. (WARNING! Spoilers ahead. if you have not seen the show or read the books) On GoT, Jeor is tough and commands respect and loyalty from his men. Anyway, you're watching the show in awe as Jeor's life is saved by Jon Snow from a walker. Just to be ruthlessly murdered by his own men, in a mutiny, during an expedition beyond the wall. The whole time wondering to yourself, " Where do I know him from?"
Well, it's not James' first walk in the park hacking and slashing his enemies....
Does a scottish, Epic, Three hour plus, hack and slash fest, academy award winning war movie directed by Mel Gibson sound familiar. Yeah, James was in 'Braveheart'. He played Campbell, Father of Hamish played by a heavily bearded Brendan Gleeson. But maybe you knew that. How about...
4. Iain Glen
Iain Glen plays Jorah Mormont, Son of Jeor (See Above), Daenerys' Banished Principal Advisor. Mr. Glen looks like a classy person who is trained or educated at whatever it may be . He has the look that gives a distinguished well-mannered appearance. As if in another life he was a doctor or something. He also looks like he could play an antagonist with ease. If you get that same feeling its probably because he has played an Evil Doctor. Dr. Isaacs perhaps... This Guy!
Yeah... that Evil and diabolical dude from all those Resident Evil Movies. Maybe this picture will help in figuring out his evilness.
Despite his Evil ways, he ends up being one of GoT most liked characters. His background of how he got with Khal Drogo would be awesome to see.
3. Jack Gleeson
Jack Gleeson plays King Joffrey Baratheon, the most diabolical and twisted young king in the history of television is downright nuts. His death was treasured by millions of fans around the world. His oozed-filled poisoning on the show was very tame compared to the book. You were so disgusted, by him, you wished you could go into your television or computer screen and...
Slapping aside, Jack Gleeson has got the look of evil. Just watch the video below and you can see that he was made to bury people.
Like me, you watch the show, as the loyal fan you are. Deep inside you know you have seen that little shithead somewhere but can't recall. Well... What if I told you he was in a superhero movie watched by millions of people and played a good kid. Not a heathen to humanity.
BATMAN Begins was fantastic but poor ol' Gleeson can't seem to get away from the almighty hand.
In real life though, Mr. Gleeson is a great young man. His GoT actors say that he is awesome to work with and is the sweetest guy anyone can possibly meet. His acting ability is outright incredible when you can indelibly make everyone on earth hate you.
2. Julian Glover
Julian Glover, who plays Grand Maester Pycell, the frail, old, and shady spy for Cersei, is a legend to legions of fans. He has been involved in many cult movies in his illustrious career. Looking at that old man above, it may not seem like anyone of importance. Well you'd be wrong.
Julian was a German Baddie in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. You may remember him as the guy who drank out of the wrong cup and this happened...
He was also in a small movie called "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" as General Maximilian Veers. This man truly is a legend.
1. Charles Dance
Charles Dance plays Tywin Lannister, the Father everyone loves to hate is heartless and controlling. He is without a doubt the worse father of the year. He plays Tywin so incredibly good that people who had abusive parents, growing up, will get flashbacks from the sneers, looks, and grins Charles emotes throughout his various scenes. But Mr. Dance looks awfully familiar. You know his face and you know he most likely played a bad guy. Hence... The Golden Child
His induction to the evil movie brotherhood was as a man trying to kidnap a little monk (J.L Reate) with mystical powers. But Eddie Murphy struck him down with a mystical dagger. Then was reborn a Human Leopard a few years later. That last sentence was not true but you can still see Charles Dance below. (Pun Intended) I'm quite sure this is not his most prestigious moment in cinema. but we forgive you for playing Tywin.
You may also remember Charles Dance as the man with wild and crazy contact lenses. He was evil, yet again, in the movie that sadly I attended on premiere day and I was the only one in the theater. "Last Action Hero".
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau - Jaime Lannister- was in Blackhawk Down as Medal of Honor recipient Helicopter Sniper Gary Gordon.
Aidan Gillen - Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish- was in the opening scene of "The Dark Knight Rises."
Lena Headey - Cersei Lannister- played Queen Gorgo in Zack Snyder's 300.
