Halloween parties are fast approaching us as we enter into my favorite time of the year, Fall. Halloween decorations are already popping up all across the country and Halloween fans are chomping at the bit to get into the festivities. You know how Christmas songs start coming on earlier and earlier? Well the same is for us Halloween freaks who propably go to the Halloween store once a week when it opens just to look at stuff we can't afford or just plain out have to refuse another spooky skeleton to put in the yard.

With the holiday comes a lot of partying. And usually when the holiday lands on a weekday it means we get to celebrate it twice. Its on a Monday this year so expect a weekend full of Halloween fun. And with parties galore you are going to need some much needed snacks with whatever spiked punch they are serving. So lets go over 3 things you can bring to any party that will be a smash hit!

3. Swamp-A-Mole

I mean do I really have to say this one? Everyone loves some good guacamole but not all quac's are the same. Everyone has their secret ingredient or lack their of ingredient. This recipe calls for a few different items that you might not be use too but I promise it is going to be a smash hit.

2-4 Hass Avocados (depends on size)

1 -2 Limes (2 if they are small)

1-2 Green Onions, sliced

1 tablespoon Pickled Jalapenos, diced (or more for extra spicy)

2 tablespoons of Cilantro chopped

Salt to taste

In a large bowl, placed peeled avocados in and with a knife begin to pull your knife through the avocados creating random cuts. Once that is done begin to mash in the middle of the bowl leaving a ring of big chunks on the outside. In your mashed part squeeze your lime juice, salt, jalapenos, green onion and cilantro. Mix together until your desired consistency. Less for more chunky more for a more smooth dip.

2. Bacon Wrapped Witch Fingers (Jalapeno Poppers)

Come on, you know damn well that everyone who eats meats pretty much likes bacon. While the last dish you can bring to any vegan party this one is for the meat eaters. This recipe is not just perfect for Halloween but any other event you are planning. Bacon wrapped around a cheese stuffed jalapeno? Is this heaven?

1 package of Bacon

10 Jalapenos

1 package of Cream Cheese

1 package of shredded Cheddar or cheese of your choice

3 dashes of Worcestershire Sauce

3 dashes of hot sauce

2 teaspoons of Garlic Powder

In a large bowl mix cream cheese, shredded cheese, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and garlic powder until everything is blended together. Now slice your Jalapenos in half and make sure that you scrape out the seeds and the veins on the walls of the peppers. Unless you want your poppers to be extra spicy. Next you will stuff the pepper with the cream cheese mixture and wrap a piece of bacon around it. You should now have 20 peppers stuffed and wrapped. Place in 400 degree oven for about 30 mins. Check to make sure bacon is done and crispy and serve to your guests.

1. Apple Cider Jello Shots

Can't have a Halloween party as a 21+ adult without some jello shots. And in the spirit of the season we have here an awesome shot that is guaranteed to make you a hit at any party. But be warned, they are highly addictive, drink at your own risk! So lets get started with these wonderful little shots of fall.

1 cup of water

2 cups Hard Apple Cider

1/2 cup of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey

1/2 cup of Sour Apple Schnapps

2 envelopes of Knox Gelatin

Now pour the water and apple cider into a saucepan and crank the heat up to medium. Pour in the Knox Gelatin and stir until fully dissolved into the mixture. Once it has dissolved remove the saucepan from the heat. Now pour in your Fireball whiskey and Sour Apple Schnapps and let the mixture cool off for a bit before you pour them into whatever vessels you will be using. Once its cool pour them into your cups and place in the fridge for 2+ hours. Make sure to take one out and test it before serving to guests. Mainly because you might not get one yourself because these will be gone in a heartbeat.

Thanks for reading my list. I hope that your Halloween parties will be successful and you have a safe and fun time. And if you enjoyed this post of my little awesome recipes let me know in the comments. I love food and love sharing the best with everyone. Now go make some awesome food!
