If you’re a hardcore mixed martial arts fan with a soft spot for #MarkHunt, or just a comic book aficionado who can’t get enough of Aquaman star Jason Momoa, then you’ve probably seen the actor’s epic haka dance for the UFC heavyweight.
While Hunt shared a few videos from the amazing moment while training in Australia, Momoa recently posted another clip from Hunt’s sendoff, this time from a closer angle.
The actor used the Instagram post as a way to raise awareness for his buddy Cole Smith, whom he credits for teaching him the dance. Smith is trying to rally supporters for an investigation into The Maori Land Court and Te Tumu Paeroa for allegedly wrongfully evicted his family from their land in New Zealand.
Not only is Momoa supporting Cole’s efforts, but he’s also in Hunt’s corner, and will reportedly be at his upcoming fight against #DerrickLewis this weekend. Having Aquaman on your side seems to be good luck these days, as he supported #MaxHolloway ahead of his featherweight title win over #JoseAldo last weekend.
