Pokémon GO is the augmented reality game that allows players from all over the globe to hunt down, capture and evolve their favourite Pokémon. The augmented reality aspect means that this all happens around you, in real life, as you play.

And to help you get started, we have got a lot of Pokemon GO guides! (free)

Remember Snake on the old Nokias? Of course you do. This is the modern version of that. This version, aside from looking shiny and new, adds an online mode. The aim of is to grow your snake as long as possible whilst at the same time avoiding the other players' snakes; a genuinely fun game for adults and kids alike.

DomiNations (free)

Take control of entire civilizations, ranging from stone age to space age. This game, despite being a new addition to the Google Play Store, has already amassed over a million downloads as well as earning critical acclaim. DomiNations is a brilliant strategy game that will have you relentlessly picking up your phone.

Roll the Ball (free)

This is a super fun, super clever brain training game that is really tough to complete and put down. The aim is to use physics to get the ball from the start to the goal. This is achieved (or attempted) by sliding the blocks around the screen.

Hitman: Sniper ($2.50)

Step into the shoes of Agent 47, a man with a seriously big gun for hire. This game allows you to hone your sniping skills as you take out your targets across over 150 missions. A great game for you shooter fans and with countless enemies to pop off this is certainly worth a purchase.

Plants vs Zombies 2 (free)

Colorful, addictive and ripping good fun. Plants vs Zombies was one of the best free to play games going last year and this sequel is even better. I can’t stress how much fun this game is, the concept alone cracks me up.

It is your classic tower defence game that pits shrubbery against an army of the undead – that seems fair. With tons of add-ons and incredible replay value this is a top choice for anyone looking to whittle away the hours.

Spider-Man Unlimited (free)

This is a beautifully illustrated game that resembles the classic comic look of Spider-Man. Jump, swing and dodge your way through the Green Goblins traps and Doc Ock’s assaults. This is a great one for all you superhero fans out there.
