Umm... are you going to drink that Skooma?

There's a new Nintendo on the loose and it's going on a serious offensive for our wallets. The gaming giant has popped up in the news again with another cooperation between it and a multinational corporation, but this time it's not inserting its colorful cast of characters into amusement parks, it's into kids' Happy Meals.

The big N has teamed up with McDonald's again to bring Super Mario and his bros to a Maccy's near you, in the form of some ultra plasticky looking Happy Meal toys that look kinda cool if you're aged between 4 and 8.

The whole crew is here, from the titular hero, the beleaguered Princess Peach, Bowser, Luigi and Yoshi, to...erm Super Star and Blocks? Man, I don't want to be the parent of the kid that had their heart set on getting Mario, and then gets a red shell. Each toy will be arriving weekly under the Golden Arches, beginning with Mario and his dino-buddy.

Here's Japan's incredible trailer for His Superness' grand McEntrance:

But whilst this isn't that big a lump of news, Nintendo and McDonald's have had a little thing going on together in the past (more on that later), but there is something very special about this particular Mario toy. And when you see it, you won't be able to un-see it.

What's that thing he's sat on? Is that some kind of archaic outdoor pooper—the likes you'd find in the bush, where spiders are so big they have their own gravitational force and societal structures?

Why hasn't he unhooked his dungarees? And he's still got his gloves on! What happened? Did he lean over too rapidly whilst fixing a U-bend and went and done a Mario Shart all over himself? Why, Nintendo, McDonald's, and/or person who designed the toy? Why?

Fool Me Twice...

As I said, this isn't the first time McDonald's and Nintendo have gotten themselves into hot (dog flavored) water over an interestingly designed Happy Meal toy. Back in 2015, the British media got itself lathered up over this Mario figurine that, when you remove its boomerang...well...it looks like Mario is giving his plunger some serious action.

Watch this and see if you agree...

And we thought Nintendo was only for kids. These Happy Meal toys, whether you want to introduce them to your kids or not, should be coming to a McDonald's near you soon.
