Philippians 4:6-7 Southern IN 15//High School Student

Bible verses are something that can really have an effect on people’s emotions, me being one of them. Sometimes, I’ll be having a real low confidence day and be super down on myself, and If I can find the right bible verse that I can connect with, I can really begin to feel better. My friend is the same way. Whenever she is feeling really low, I will send her a lot of bible verses to help her through her situation. Something about it is very therapeutic. I feel like when I find one I can connect with, it’s like God giving me a big hug, and telling me that he has everything under control and that I don’t need to worry.

There are many different emotions you can have and for me, reading a bible verse will always make me feel really good, even if I was already in a good mood! I have a selection of verses here for different emotions and feelings, and I hope that some of these can give you that Godly hug feel like I mentioned earlier.

For I am the Lord, your God. … because you are precious to me and because I love you and give you honor, do not be afraid—I am with you!” – Psalm 94:17-18
