This Sunday, viewers were treated to yet another action packed episode of The Walking Dead. After being absent for several weeks, Negan returned to screens in this episode, as we finally found out what transpired between the antagonist and Gabriel in that trailer.

Much like we've come to expect with fans of The Walking Dead, many viewers took to social media to express their thoughts and feelings on the latest episode of the post-apocalyptic drama, and most of them were delighted to have Negan back on their screens.

Negan's Return

After week's of absence, Negan is back and viewers are ecstatic. Let's take a look at some of the greatest online reactions.

And as much as people loved Negan's return, there was one moment in particular that had the internet in stitches. During "Big Scary U," Negan revealed a little bit about himself, telling Gabriel that he couldn't put his sick wife down when the apocalypse began. Negan was convinced that this was showing weakness. Before they exited the trailer, Gabriel told Negan that he was forgiven, which resulted in Negan smacking him. As you can imagine, the internet loved this hilarious moment. As we expected, fans had a lot to say about Sunday's new episode of The Walking Dead, but while opinions on the show vary from fan to fan, it appears that the one thing they all can agree on is Negan's return, which has gone down a treat for pretty much everyone that watches the show. We're five episodes in to the eighth season, and things are really starting to heat up for our survivors, but who knows what's to come in next week's episode? One thing is for sure — the internet will let us know exactly how they feel!
