It makes sense in some ways, Dumbledore always seemed to have his hands in people's lives in one way or another, all through his life. It saddens me he had to die the way he did, but they set it up that way to keep Snape's secret. He was a double agent and a danged good one at that. Sometimes I think the fans see more into it because we re-read the books a million times (yes, I do, I had to buy new ones, I wore them out re-reading them), watch the movies a ton and talk about them in fan pages. We see more into them because we want them to be MORE. Just my opinion, but it does work out.
