These Bellator guys aren't playing around. In a week, they've picked up Dillon Danis, , and now Ryan Bader. With the exception of the brash BJJ guy, this takes their total of former UFC talent up to 13 fighters. Their newest tactic to solidify themselves as UFC's only rival includes a Madison Square Garden card that will be aired on pay-per-view.

The mixed martial arts promotion will stage a stacked card in New York City on June 24, The Associated Press has learned. Bellator 180 will be headlined by Chael Sonnen's long-awaited rivalry bout with Wanderlei Silva. Additional fights will be announced soon for several of the promotion's top talents, including a handful of its newly-signed free agents. Bellator will broadcast on pay-per-view for only the second time in promotional history, signaling another step in its growth as a rival for the industry-leading UFC.

So, not only does Bellator get to ironically put on the hyped fight the UFC was never able to make happen, but will fill the card with 'newly-signed free agents' which are all former UFC fighters. and 's rivalry was lava hot back in 2013, but if anybody will be able to convince the world this is the fight they want to see in 2017, it's Sonnen. It may not even matter that he was embarassed by Tito Ortiz back at Bellator 170.
