In order to see the changes we hope to see, we have to remain relentless in our "doing". Nothing happens overnight. Everything takes time! We have to be wiling to stick it out through the process, endure a few scrapes along the way, and still dust ourselves off and keep going. It's not about how long it takes. It's about how hard you're willing to fight until it happens. Trust yourself. Trust God.
"If I cannot do great things, I can do small things in a great way."-Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
The journey may not look like you expected, but understand that it does all work together. Your story matters. What you've been through matters. What you're going through MATTERS. But we must learn to have Gratitude, even in the not so gracious moments. Life is all about balance. Good must come with bad. Success must come with burden. Process must come with struggle. It's all a balancing act that Life has created so that we can build some of the more important traits that we'll need along the way---strength, tenacity, wisdom, courage, etc. Without the rough patches, we wouldn't need to learn how to be any of these things. So instead of worrying, complaining, or running away from our tough moments, we should embrace them and draw from it, what we need to gain in order to be better, stronger, and wiser. Don't get stuck in the process. The process has an end. You just have to stick it out long enough to see.
Keep focused. Keep driven. Keep hopeful. And keep going.....
