Christopher Scarver, the man who murdered Jeffrey Dahmer has finally spoken out about why he bludgeoned the depraved serial killer to death.
Dahmer, who was given the nickname the 'Milwaukee Cannibal,' was serving 16 life sentences when Scarver crushed his skull in with a metal bar.

Jeffrey Dahmer and His Terrible Crimes
Between 1978-1991, Dahmer went on a cannibalistic, blood-lust rampage, brutally raping and murdering 17 young men and boys. Before his capture he was killing one victim a week.
His gruesome obsession with dissection began when he was around seven. He would scour around for road kill and then hack up the animals, keeping their various body parts in jars in his family's toolshed.
Over dinner one night he took a chicken bone and calmly asked his father, "What would happen if I placed this bone in bleach?"
His parents were already concerned about their introverted, socially awkward son. But nothing would prepare them, or the rest of the world, for what was discovered at Jeffery Dahmer's apartment at 924 North 25th Street, on July 22, 1991.
The Horrors They Found in His Apartment
On that night, two police officers were stopped by a man wearing handcuffs in the street who claimed he been held hostage by a crazy man.
Following him back to the apartment, the officers really had stumbled across a house of horrors.
This clean and tidy room had been the scene of unfathomable deviant crimes.
Dahmer, who was good looking, would go to pick up young men and boys in clubs, by the street or at bus stops and take them back to his house for sex. He would then murder them by strangulation and dismember the bodies. He also confessed to eating parts of his victims, so he still felt close to them.
The blue plastic drum contained three human torsos, and three human heads were discovered in the freezer.
He even injected some of his victims with acid, straight into the brain. He wanted to turn them into zombies, so they would stay with him. His experiments failed, all the men he did this to died, and, along with the rest of his victims, were hacked to pieces and used as part of his depraved sexual fantasies.
After His Capture
When captured he waived any right to a lawyer and confessed, in great detail, what he had done to his victims:
After rendering them unconscious with drugs he would strangle or beat them to death. Dismembering them in his bath, he would take all the internal organs out first, before chopping up the body, storing the parts he wanted to keep, and dissolving the rest in acid, and dispose of the waste by flushing it down his toilet.
He also confessed he had eaten the hearts, livers, biceps and portions of thighs of several victims killed within the previous year.
A huge collection of polaroids he had taken of the victims were also found.
All together a total of four severed heads were removed from the kitchen. A total of seven skulls, some painted, some bleached, were found in Dahmer's bedroom and inside a closet.
Investigators discovered collected blood drippings upon a tray at the bottom of Dahmer's refrigerator, plus two human hearts and a portion of arm muscle, each wrapped inside plastic bags upon the shelves. In Dahmer's freezer, investigators discovered an entire torso, plus a bag of human organs and flesh stuck to the ice at the bottom.
Elsewhere in Apartment 213, investigators discovered two entire skeletons, a pair of severed hands, two severed and preserved penises, a mummified scalp and - in the 57-gallon drum - three further dismembered torsos dissolving in the acid solution.
A total of 74 Polaroid pictures detailing the dismemberment of Dahmer's victims would also later be found.
A Profile of His Killer, Christopher Scarver
Christopher Scarver, in prison for murdering his boss in a botched robbery, came across the mass murderer in prisoner, and said he seemed unrepentant.
Talking for the first time about the killings he said:
"He crossed the line with some people - prisoners, prison staff. Some people who are in prison are repentant, but he was not one of them. I saw heated interactions between [Dahmer] and other prisoners from time to time. I never interacted with him."
Dahmer taunted other prisoners by cutting up his food to look like limbs, covering them in ketchup to make them look like they were covered in blood and then eat them, obviously mimicking how he would have eaten his victims. This soon began to irritate Scarver too, so on November 28, 1994, his anger turned to murder.
An Altercation in the Prison Bathroom Turned Deadly
He and Jeffrey, along with fellow inmate Jesse Anderson, another murderer who had killed his wife, were on cleaning detail in the prison's bathroom. Jesse and Jeffery seemed to be laughing at Scarver, who then produced a newspaper clipping from his pocket that told all about the Milwaukee Cannibal's sadistic crimes.
"I asked him if he did those things because I was fiercely disgusted. He was shocked. He started looking for the door pretty quick. I blocked him."
Brandishing a metal bar he had taken from the prison weight room, he beat Dahmer twice round the head, crushing his skull. He then turned to Jesse, and also murdered him with the same metal bar.
He spent 16 years in solitary confinement for the crimes.
Now serving three life terms, Christopher believes the prison wanted Dahmer dead and that's why he was left alone with them, the prison has declined to comment.
Jeffrey Dahmer brutally sacrificed 17 people to satisfy his own craving for blood, sex, cannibalism and necrophilia. An evil sadist, his legacy as the world's most prolific and depraved monster stands even after all these years.
Then, as he paid for his crimes in prison, he suffered at the hands of another man, and maybe, for just a few seconds felt the fear and terror that his victims once felt. Is this true justice? Or should he have had to live out his whole life and had to answer daily to his conscience?
