Found Footage 3D, a meta horror film centreing round the found footage sub genre, became a festival hit in 2016 and is now being added to the horror streaming service Shudder.
Written and directed by newcomer Steven DeGennaro and produced by Kim Henkel (co-creator of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise), the film's synopsis is as follows:
A group of filmmakers sets out to make the first 3D found footage horror movie, but find themselves IN a found footage horror movie when the evil entity from their film escapes into their behind-the-scenes footage.
The film had its initial premiere at Bruce Campbell's Horror Film Fest, and won the festival's inaugural jury award, and had its international premiere at Frightfest in the UK in 2016.
The film will become available on Shudder on 26th October 2017. You can view the trailer below:
