When I first saw this, it immediately sparked my interests because although I don't have a disability, my family had to go to multiple stores to find a certain Barbie doll I wanted because they wanted me to have black Barbies because I'm mixed but unless you know me, I look like I'm white. So, not only were dolls a expectation most girls couldnt live up to, it was also focused on "if you're not this color, you're not perfect, give up" which sadly is something I actually see around my school on a daily basis. I want to see dolls with disabilities and dolls that actually express and represent all the different girls, not just the one with blonde hair and blue eyes. Hell, I want to see a punk rock Barbie with a Mohawk! This is a change I think every one could support.
