It's fine that it wasn't their cup of tea, but to openly ridicule and trash the project that propelled them to national, or rather global fame is, in my opinion, poor business practices. In my job, anyone's really, if you're caught trashing your company, you'd be fired! If I were a director, I'd think long and hard before signing any of the nay-sayers onto my pic. I understand if they didn't like it, even as a fan I see the cheese but, diplomacy goes a long way considering where your bread and butter, or in their case, A negative, comes from.
