... I think that Tony has a better batting average --much better-- than Ridley. When Ridley has everything working for him then his film is not merely very good it's great! (Duh!? I guess you can say that about any filmmaker. Whatever.) "The Martian" is great, really great, material. I think it'll return Ridley back to the A+-list & then some. This year has already given sci-fi fans it's "Bladerunner" with "Ex Machina". "The Martian" will be this year's "Apollo 13". (The book reads like a real life story that could happen.)
