If marvel directors got a more creative license for they're movies we'd end up with a DC paradox. Now I'm not saying I don't like DC but a lot of their movies have not been up to viewers expectations. Yeah I'm thrilled for the new BvS: dawn of justice but marvel is right with this. I do, however, believe that if Marvel want good directors to make their films, they should at least approach the ones who know their comic history. I'll give one example of a director who doesn't know their comic history. Ava DuVernay who was approached to direct the upcoming Black Panther movie wanted to put a civil rights view in the movie.
