His former assistant appears to be a guy just looking to get paid, I suspect because he was fired. I have worked with Stan on several projects, including directing him and Kevin Smith in "Stan Lee's: Mutants, Monsters and Marvel's" Since I first met Stan, 20 years ago, he has always treated me with kindness and respect. I have seen him around countless employees, friends and fans, and he is who he appears to be: A thoughtful, hilarious and faithful hero who will give his all to make sure everyone who meets him feels special. I have spent hours in the car with him on the way to San diego comic cons; we talked about all kinds of things, including: social responsibility, entertainment and philosophy. I can 100% assure you that he is a wonderful person, with a beautiful soul, and the heart of a lion. Even if he had never created a single comic book I feel honored to have him as a friend.
