So as we all know, Blumhouse pictures makes movies that cost usually less than 5 million dollars, which then turn around making upwards of 40 million. This is what happened to 2014s Ouija. Everyone that saw this film generally hated it, including me, it was a boring, uninteresting, and worst of all not scary. But it's sequel has gotten a quality director and actress to maybe salvage the idea. Mike Flanagan, who previously directed Oculus, and Annalise Basso who acted in oculus has been brought in to direct/star in the project. Oculus was an original and well made horror flick, with good acting from Annalise, let's hope that they aren't one hit wonders.
