ADVERTISING for CREATORS: THE NEW FRONTIER
Our investment in Programmatic Advertising is paving the way for Creators to earn substantial revenue for their work.
50% PROGRAMMATIC REVENUE DIRECTLY TO CREATORS
At Movie Pilot we're fans of using cutting-edge advancements in technology to monetize our website and pay the fans who write with us.
When a technology with great potential and stellar functionality comes along, our team of nerd-professionals is quick to implement it. This is how we became an early adopter of Header Bidding – the latest and most efficient method of delivering display ads.
Movie Pilot's strategy – you could even call it a motto – involves making the most amount of money while showing the least amount of ads. We carefully screen advertisers who want to work with us, and cut out middle men as much as possible. These direct buyer relationships enable us to maximize revenue, which means there's more revenue to share with our Creators.
MOVIE PILOT'S MISSION STATEMENT
Our goal is to pay 50% of our total rCPM ( = Real Cost Per Thousand) from programmatic advertising to our Creators as part of our Verified Creators Program. We want to be transparent about this process, so we will be sharing a monthly report here of our programmatic revenue, documenting our income and how that affects the revenue share we're able to offer our Creators.
Why AD-BLOCKERS HURT CREATORS
Please help us to pay our Creators by turning off ad-blockers while you’re on Movie Pilot. The more our ads are seen, the more eCPM (= Effective Cost Per Thousand) is available for our Creators to benefit from.
